Becoming a Member
The association is greatly involved in large scale performances and community performances. Members would have the chance to meet like-minded individuals who share the same interest through weekly rehearsals, experience how it is like to perform as a group and even working on improving skills and techniques.
As much as we hope members feel closely to the guzheng instrument and learn from fellow members by being part of this community, we look to develop members holistically through exposure in various areas.

“After joining Guzheng Association, I have been given countless opportunities to take part in many different performances e.g. Library@Esplanade, guzheng concert organised by guzheng association, poetry festival at laselle and many more!
Before every performance we needed to practice together very often to ensure that each and every one in the ensemble are coordinating well. After every performance I learned what had went well and what did not, so that I can reflect on it and improve the next time round.
The experience that I gained after each and every performance. This whole experience is truly invaluable and rewarding. I have learnt so many things throughout all these years e.g. teamwork, fostering friendship, knowledge and brushing up my skills.
